Basketball World Cup: USA proclaims coaching squad

Colorado Springs, Colo. – Thunder’s Jalen Williams and Kings’ Keegan Murray are on the 14-man apply squad introduced Monday by USA Basketball for the Basketball World Cup.

Different gamers who play within the NBA are Chet Holmgren (Thunder), Cade Cunningham (Pistons), Jalen Duren (Pistons), Jalen Inexperienced (Rockets), Quentin Grimes (Knicks), Herb Jones (Pelicans), Trey Murphy (Pelicans), Payton Pritchard (Celtics) (T-wolves) and Nazolid.

Rounding out the panel had been Langston Galloway, Eric Mika and John Jenkins.

The event begins on August 25 in Manila, Philippines.

Magic head coach Jamal Mosley will coach the apply squad, assisted by the Pacers’ Jim Boylan and Purdue’s Matt Painter.

“We’re assured that the teaching workers will do an important job getting ready the nationwide staff for the World Cup,” commented Common Supervisor Grant Hill.

“Now we have mixture of younger NBA gamers and veterans that helped us qualify. All of them will play an enormous function in our success in Manila.

Six common squad members from ‘Workforce USA’ served on the apply squad: Brandon Ingram (2016), Jaron Jackson (2019), Mikal Bridges (2019), Jalen Brunson (2019), Anthony Edwards (2021) and Tyrese Halliburton (2021).
